AABC can reach these groups
typically alienated by alternative medicine. For each group, we have listed likely requirements they may have before investing in or offering consent to your clinical methods. Clinicians should consider these needs during the planning phase of their branding.
- Western medical doctors: May require your practice to be evidence-based, and results-oriented.
- Policy makers: May promote evidence-based and results-oriented health paradigms only.
- Scientists: Frequently look for rational explanations, precision, and a testable hypothesis.
- Established Community Leaders: Seek reliable, appropriate, and sensible choices for their constituents.
General Guidelines
Here are some guidelines AABC recommends for health & wellness clinicians:
- Common Sense Approach - Avoid seeking intrigue through controversy, or choosing opposite opinion merely to differentiate your service.
- Improve Outcomes - Differentiate your service through quality care and superior outcomes. Track outcomes.
- Patient Centered - Patient centered care focuses on the culture of the client, not the culture of the medicine. Show clients you are service oriented by removing strong cultural elements from your practice.
- Professionalism - Demonstrate a high level of organization and a service oriented mentality through profession dress, office space, and manner during client appointments.
